The Spring Sake Event of 2010 featuring celebrity sake sommelier Paul Tanguay
Sushi Rock along with Cutting Edge Selections invites you to sample our award-winning menu while tasting through a selection of premium sake. We will explore the different styles & grades from some of the most prestigious sake houses available in the US. Paul Tanguay, professional Sake Sommelier, will be in from New York to expertly guide us through the evening Paul's Sake journey started while working as Beverage Director for SushiSamba, a highly regarded restaurant group based in New York. His original interest in Sake, quickly became a passion, as he found himself drawn deeper and deeper into the subject. After winning the 2006 Eastern US Sake Sommelier Competition and being ranked among the top ten in the World Competition, Paul started his own consulting company. Today he is considered the foremost Sake expert living in the US. To say the least, we are thrilled to have him for an evening to help us explore the fascinating and delicious world of premium "micro-brewed" Sake.
